I am pleased to announce that we will have a special guest at our June General Meeting on June 15, 2021. Tom Falcone is the Chief Executive Officer of the Long Island Power Authority. Tom has agreed to come speak with us all about the LIPA/ PSEG negotiations and answer any questions you may have. I encourage you all to come down to the hall to hear the latest information from Mr. Falcone. Please keep in mind that Mr. Falcone has always been a great friend of our Local Union.

Thomas Falcone is the Chief Executive Officer of the Long Island Power Authority, the third largest publicly-owned electric utility in the United States. Mr. Falcone joined LIPA in January 2014 as Chief Financial Officer and became CEO in September 2015.
Mr. Falcone serves on New York's Climate Action Council, the 22-member board that adopts the State plans to achieve New York's ambitious greenhouse gas reduction targets, including a zero-carbon power sector by 2040 and an 85 percent reduction in state-wide emissions by 2050.
Mr. Falcone is a board member of the Large Public Power Council and an advisory board member of the Advanced Energy Research and Technology Center at Stony Brook University. Mr. Falcone also participates in the Energeia Partnership, a think-tank organization focused on challenges facing Long Island.
